From July 2021 to March 2023, I worked as a Digital Content Producer for 2 News Oklahoma on KJRH-TV, the E.W. Scripps station in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In my role as Digital Content Producer, I curated the daily social media feed for the station's platforms, including direct links, custom graphics, short-form videos and promotions, and live content. I also reported and wrote news and sports stories for KJRH.com, distributing accompanying content via mobile app notifications, subscriber email, and additional digital platforms.

I also spearheaded the station's podcast production, launching the station's first sports podcast, 2 News Oklahoma Fantasy Football Forecast. I produced, hosted, edited, and promoted the show for three seasons.

During my time at 2 News Oklahoma, I handled on-site digital coverage for our weekly live high school football show, Friday Night Tailgate, as well as developing digital strategies for utilizing sports stories and highlights on KJRH.com. I also created a series of digital content on KJRH.com for the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, which was named a finalist for a Great Plains Journalism Award.

Below are a handful of work samples from my time at 2 News Oklahoma.
